  • This is a package deal, included is the Longboard Rack and the SUP Lower Bar Set. They are both interchangable

    We recommend the racks for boards up to about 25 lbs. Heavier boards are hard to ride with off the side of the bike, andwill exceed the load capacity of the bars.
  • SUPs are wide and you will need clearance under your handlebar. For the most part, this means you can only carry a SUP with a beach cruiser with a high rise set of cruiser bars.
  • The standard bar sets have just under 4 inches of clearance for your board. Many SUPs are in the 4-5 inch width range. The good news is that it is relatively easy to bend the lower U shaped portion of the bars open to fit wider SUPs
  • If you have an inflatable SUP, it is probably more like 6 inches thick. We offer a set of Replacement Lower Bars for use with Inflatable SUPs

This SUP rack has worked exactly as I hoped it would. If does take some practice to get used to riding with it, and I wouldn't recommend super long trips. The rack itself performs great and I've had no issues carrying my 25 lb inflatable SUP. I would recommend using bungee cords over the top of the board to hold it in place. Otherwise I've had no issues.
