Papa kai surf benches are a great addition to your indoor or outdoor surf themed space.  Doubling as a surfboard table, this simple but beautiful bench can be used in multiple areas of your home. 

Made of pure mahogany wood, the surfboard table/bench measures 18” tall x 5’ wide.  It can be shaped either after the “fish” tailed, pointed nose Kualoa model (featured in the picture), or the more traditional Laie model which features a rounded nose and flat tail. Each board is handshaped to meet our quality standard and then coated with Tung oil and set to dry.  This serves both to ensure a protective, glossy finish, as well as to enhance the natural beauty of the woods color. 

All benches are based on the traditional Hawaiian “alaia” surfboards which were smaller, thinner versions of the traditional Hawaiian surfboard you might initially picture.
